Descripción: The library is located on the first floor of the Faculty of Medicine and Sciences of Health building. It includes Medicine, Odontology, Nursery and physiotherapy collections. Its facilities include those at the Sports Medicine school and at Santiago Gascón biochemistry building. It collaborates with the Central Hospital of Asturias and with other health centres of Asturias pursuant to agreements entered to by the University of Oviedo in relation to library cooperation. It is a member of the inter-library loan network. C17, collective catalogue of periodicals on biomedicine which includes Spanish science of health collections.
